I have been back for a week and I get bombed the same set of questions everyday. Thank you for every one's concern, I have decided to do a FAQ for me to make sure my answers are consistent. Mua ha ha ha....
Q - Eh you back for good?
A - Yes for now.
Q - Why are you back?
A - Secondment end lio mah come back lor.
(To create fame for myself, perhaps I should just said, I had an affair with their 80 year CEO and they send me back to Lion City for the good of the company.. ha ha ha)
Q - You must earn a lot in Kimchi land hor?
A - Ha ha, earn a bit bit lor. Pai seh lar...
(While I do earn some extra income, it's still taxable and CPF deductible not to mention I still need to pay rental and phone bills, so it's not as much as everyone thinks)
Q - What do you miss most in Kimchi land? Kimchi?
A - Ha ha ha.. I miss the BBQ pork and Loteria chicken.
(But I think I miss the Taiwan food that my PM cooked even more)
Q - Are there many handsome guys?
A - Got, perhaps 1 in 10 are quite good looking.
(And you wonder, which part is man made ha ha ha)
Q - Saw the pictures you post in FB, you must have visited every single place in Kimchi land.
A - No lar, just some places in Seoul.
(More often than not, I am found working my arse off )
Q - How is the weather there now?
A - Autumn coming so must be cooler.
(How will I know the weather there when I am physically in Lion City? Sweat!)
Q - Are you happy to be back?
A - Sure I am
( Actually I am happy there and I am happy here also for different reasons )
Am still trying to settle back into Lion City life. It's really hot here!
